Describe the general outlines of Nixon's economic policy. Was it consistent? Was it effective?
iren [92.7K]

He focused on the inflation rate.  He concentrated on mandatory price controls. This covered rent, wages and other prices as a solution to resolve the inflation. This also enabled the dollar to float compared to other currencies.  Unfortunately it had a negative response to businessmen as it resulted in food shortages.  The inflation also returned which meant that the solutions were a failure.

Four causes of crusades??
lord [1]

Answer:

The Crusades were a series of military campaigns organised by Christian powers in order to retake Jerusalem and the Holy Land back from Muslim control. There would be eight officially sanctioned crusades between 1095 CE and 1270 CE and many more unofficial ones. Each campaign met with varying successes and failures but, ultimately, the wider objective of keeping Jerusalem and the Holy Land in Christian hands failed. the Christian pilgrims had been granted safe passage to visit the Holy city. In

1065 Jerusalem was taken by the Turks, who came from the kingdom of

ancient Persia. The Christians were not long in realizing that power had

fallen into new hands. The churches in Jerusalem were destroyed or turned

into stables. 3000 Christians were massacred and the remaining Christians

were treated so badly that throughout Christendom people were stirred to

fight in crusades. These actions aroused a storm of indignation throughout

Europe and awakened the desire to rescue the Holy Land from the grasp of

How did Germany react to the increased demand for weapons? Who oversaw this effort?
neonofarm [45]
They reacted by having everyone work in the industry. While the men were fighting the war or making things that support the war, the women were also involved in production of weaponry and supplies. Even the children joined the war effort as Hitler's Youth, which was like a program for children to join the support of the government. When things got really serious and dangerous they even sent the children to fight.
