1. In factories more stuff was done by machine vs farm where you use your hands more
2. It was less demanding on farms they did not need as many people to work on a machine where as in a factory they had kids slaving in hot conditions just to feed their family.
1.Farm life was harder work with less pay. Factory life paid better and had better perks.2. Farming was relatively safe, while the dangers of factory life were numerous. (Only because of early machinery.)3. You got housing from farming, taxes were lower if you contributed to the country. However you got high taxes as a factory worker.
