The nuclear deterrence of the British came from submarines and nuclear-armed aircraft. France posses nuclear weapon on 13th February 1960. China became Nuclear Power on 16 October 1964. They developed their nuclear weapons with an assistant from the Soviet Union. But later in 1950 China and Soviet split up and China still progressed in developing a nuclear weapon in the 1960s.
