Answer:

3.75

Explanation:

Given;

Price of gold = $1,200 per troy ounce

Price of silver = $20 per troy ounce

Therefore,

1200/20 = 60 pieces of silver is worth one troy ounce of gold but;

1 ounce = 0.0625 pounds

60 ounces = 60 ×0.0625

= 3.75

Therefore a 3.75 pounds of silver is worth single troy ounce of gold.

Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

Explanation:

Workable ethical theory that was violated was the ideology of justice. However if we look at SECE and IEEE COE, the clauses that have been violated are

SECE: Clause g. “Software engineers shall be fair to and supportive of their colleagues”

IEEE COE: Clause 3. “To be honest and realistic in stating claims or estimates based on available data”

By taking a gold spot instead of a green spot that he was entitled he has violated the overall rights of justice and has not supported his colleagues. He also has not been honest in his claims.

However, considering the overall view of ethics, the student did not have any choice and he did the right thing by parking at whichever spot available.

Ainat [17]

Answer:

$13.89

Explanation:

The computation of the value of stock is shown below:

Year Dividend Present value factor at 16% Present value

1         $1.90                0.862                               $1.64

2        $2.10                 0.743                               $1.56

3        $2.30

Price $14.375             0.743                               $10.68

The price is computed below:

= $2.30 ÷ 16% = $14.375

Total present value $13.89

The present value factor is computed below:

= 1 ÷ (1 + rate) ^ years

For Year 1 = 1 ÷ 1.16^1 = 0.862

For Year 2 = 1 ÷ 1.16^2 = 0.743

patriot [66]

Answer:

$ 9,387.50

Explanation:

An asset is any item that the owner considers valuable.

Shares , the cars and figurines are assets as Latoya can attach a value to them.

Total value of the shares = 50 x 35.75 = 1, 787.5

Value of the car = $5,600

Figurines = $ 2,000

Total value of assets = 1,787.50+ $5,600 + $2,000

=$ 9,387.50

When an employee's behavior does not improve over time through progressive disciplinary measures, ____ is the final option.
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

Discharge.

Explanation:

This is seen to be a formal way of relieving an employer off his duties due to many wrong reasons which can be easily tagged misconduct. This is is not the first step of the disciplinary action as verbal warnings and other written warnings must have been sent to the said employee(s) before dismissal. Which is seen to be the final step by the employer. Some employees are seen to try to appeal this termination as most cases is seen to be failed attempts as their cases has already been settled by the panel.
