If every member of a labor society receives a fair treatment, it will boost their productivity and encourage them to improve and keep climbing through the social scale.
Another important fact is to be sure that the people in charge of running a country provides us with a transparent system, where we the citizens can in some ways control the decisions choosen or at least, discuss them in order to try to find a different path. Avoiding corruption and higher class privileges upon the lower stages of society is a key factor to become a healthy economy.
