The correct answer is option B: "<em>They take focus away from Icarus by including many other ordinary elements</em>".

The story told in the poem as well as in the painting is the fall of Icarus. In both works, to a certain extent, that is not the main focus. In the painting, for example, Icarus' legs can be seen as he drowns. This is a very small detail compared to the other elements present in the painting that overshadow the situation.

In Emily Dickinson's poem "324" where does the speaker spend her Sundays ?
docker41 [41]
In "324", the speaker of the poem spends her Sundays at home. She draws a comparison to others, as she states that they mostly spend their Sundays in church. It can also be assumed that the speaker may be outside at her home, as she uses many images of birds, and mentions an orchard.

Nutka1998 [239]

The subjective statement is A. San Francisco is the coolest city in America.

<u>A statement is subjective when it is influenced by a belief, an opinion or a judgement about a specific topic</u>. A subjective statement does not stick to the facts. In this case,<u> there is no actual evidence that San Francisco is the coolest city in America</u>. Unlike B), C) and D), this statement does not provide factual information; therefore, it cannot be identified as true nor false.
