The correct answer is option B: "<em>They take focus away from Icarus by including many other ordinary elements</em>".

The story told in the poem as well as in the painting is the fall of Icarus. In both works, to a certain extent, that is not the main focus. In the painting, for example, Icarus' legs can be seen as he drowns. This is a very small detail compared to the other elements present in the painting that overshadow the situation.

The Stone and Rickie Fowler and the Walk of a Lifetime both focus on wishes. Using evidence from the text, compare and contrast
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

Maibon and Anthony Trudel react in different ways when their wishes are granted.

Maibon was pleased at first since he will never be old. As the days passed by, he realized that every day was the same and that he was not aging nor living his life. This leads him to realize that his wish will not make his dream come true and will not make him happy. We can see this when he says  “I want no more of it. Whatever may happen, let it happen. That’s better than nothing happening at all. I’ve had my share of being young; I’ll take my share of being old. And when I come to the end of my days, at least I can say I’ve lived each one of them.”

On the other side, there is Anthony Trudel, a teenage boy with cancer who wanted to meet his idol Rickie Fouler. Anthony was happy because he could watch his favorite golf player in action and talk with him. He did not want a photo with him.  He wanted to see Fouler play and interact with others since this was what he admired of him. We can see this when Anthony says " What I won’t forget is unflappability. His cool. His understanding of what he got to do. His studious and laid-back demeanor as he walked a few feet from his hero, taking mental notes on his swing, on how he read the greens, on his putting stroke". Also, when he says “That’s one of the reasons I’ve always liked him,” said Trudel, “it’s the way he treats people.”  We can see that Anthony wants to learn and aspires to be like him. He is living every day of his life has the probability of meeting Rickie Fowler again due to the short distance between residences.

In conclusion, Maibon asked for something that did not allow him to live his life but made him realized that time is essential in every life and makes things precious. Something that Trudel knew and, that is why he used his days to make worthy memories.

Explanation:

In this essay, we compare and contrast two texts that share the topic of whishes. It is important to cite evidence from the text to support what we are stating and use the correct language.

Finally, we write our last paragraph, which is the conclusion. In this paragraph, we state what we could learn by comparing these two scenarios.

Which one is correct, grammatically
lesya [120]

As someone who writes books, I'd normally use quotation marks, and the person is obviously talking, so the first one should be correct.

PLEASE HELP!!! WILL MARK BRAINLIST PLUS 30 POINTS!!
kaheart [24]

Answer:

Nature is a common Transcendentalist theme that is presented in "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman.

Explanation:

Nature is a common theme in many English pieces, but it is a deeper theme when it's looked at in a transcendental theme. Before we can talk about this transcendental theme I found in "Song of Myself", what are some other examples of transcendental themes? There are five elements of transcendentalism, which are nonconformity, self-reliance, free thought, confidence, and nature. In my opinion, I found it in my best nature to choose, well, nature, because everyone writes about nature, but in this case, it's a special theme because the nature theme is deeper than normal. It brings a different feeling than it normally does. I found this theme not only in "Song of Myself", but also in a few songs that people still listen to today. An example is "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles. The reason is that the song not only sings about the sun, but it also sings about the snow and ice clearing because the sun finally arriving. "Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting; Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear."

Not only that, but the way it's presented is in a transcendental manner. The theme of nature is also present in the poem "Song of Myself, written by Walt Whitman. One of quite a few examples includes, "I bequeathe myself to the dirt, to grow from the grass I love;". He also talks about animals such as birds and hawks. Even the seasons themselves are mentioned as nature, even though each season isn't mentioned one by one. Transcendental themes are themes that are deeply discussed, and the five elements from earlier can be discussed that way. Transcendentalism brings a different feeling than other themes tend to, and so, in conclusion, nature is not only a common theme in songs and common pieces but in transcendental pieces as well.

I hope this helps! Sorry it's a bit late.

O, he sits high in all the people’s hearts,
Elden [556K]

Answer:

These lines are spoken by Casca.

The lines are about Brutus.

The lines mean that whatever bad plans that Cassius and Casca had planned can be turned to their advantage by Brutus in front of the people. Even though the people will get mad and angry after the death of Caesar, Brutus can turn them to their side, like an alchemist can turn anything into gold.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" revolves around the story of how Julius Caesar was murdered by his trusted aides. Moreover, the future of Rome was left at the hands of numerous 'hopefuls' like Cassius and Brutus and Antony and Octavius on the other, fighting to get the power to rule over Rome.

The given lines are taken from Act I scene iii of the play, spoken by Casca. The lines refer to Brutus, who, according to Casca, is capable of turning the people's hatred into love, acceptable even if it is the worse of all things.

Cassius and Casca were planning to get rid of Caesar and wanted to rope in Brutus, which Cassius reveals <em>"Three parts of him Is ours already"</em>. And the things that they planned, however brutal it may be, can be turned around in the people's mindsets by Brutus alone. Like Casca states,

<em>"that which would appear offense in us, </em>

<em>His countenance, like richest alchemy </em>

<em>Will change to virtue and to worthiness". </em>
