Answer:

Example- I used time wisely when I efficiently did my homework directly after school, and verified my answers with an adult. I did not, however, use time wisely when I held off my history project until a day before the due date. I could plan better by using my own motivation, or by reminding myself on paper what I need to complete.

Please mark me brainliest because I worked hard on this and it took me almost 15 mins, I gave a deep explanation, and also I was the first person to answer lol. :)

Answer:

the answer is the second one. (ugly : pretty : ::tall :short)

Explanation:

Definition of Analogy- a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

Here is an example sentence- "an analogy between the workings of nature and those of human societies"

The reason why I chose the second answer is because it is comparing beauty/society. Like for example, "alissa is tall, but sam is short" or "Emily is ugly, but Jessica is pretty". These are all comparisons.

I didn't choose the first answer (dog : cat :: cat : mouse) because it is just saying opposites and it is not comparing, it is naming animals.

I didn't choose the third one (brush: comb :: broom: sweep) because, again, they are only naming objects.

I didn't choose the fourth one (yellow : bright :: one : little) because its not comparing and its just naming random things that don't even go together lol
