They were a religious sect that was formed in 1827, by a man named Joseph Smith from New York, who has been claiming that he has been visited by an angel whose name was Moroni, and that the angel was the son of the prophet Mormon.
IMO probably blatent party arguments, people only vote based on side, and even in the senate, they just filibuster if it is something their party dosent like. nothing can get done, no matter what side you're on.
