Connective: the three outer membranes (the meninges) that envelop the brain and spinal cord are composed of connective tissue. They support and protect the body.

Muscle: heart, digestive organs, and blood vessels

Nervous: brain, spinal cord, and nerves. It is responsible for coordinating and controlling many body activities.
