I am going to compare Germany and Iran.

In Germany, the power is with the people (=it's a democracy) which are represented by the members of the parliament: it's a representative democracy. It's also a federation of 16 states.

Iran, on the other hand is a theocracy: a country ruled by the members of the clergy. It can also be named an oligarchy: the power is with a few members of the society.

Further Explanations:

Every nation has its historical procedure of constitution and formation of its constitution and can have similarities and dissimilarities with the constitution of the other nations. The constitution of any nation provides the platform for the formation of the government and smooth regulation of the nation. Similarities: Both the nation's government have the legislative assembly, publically elected executive branch and independent Judiciary as its three primary branches and follows Federal structure of government having authority over National and International matters including taxation, foreign policies, armed force, and currency regulation. Another similarity is that both the nation have a constitutional form of government formed by the elected representative chosen directly by the people.

Differences: The United States has congress as its legislature comprising of Senate with two House of Representatives served by 100 senators and 435 house of representatives having two years tenure while India has Parliament as its legislature comprising of President, RajyaSabha, and LokSabha. Loksabha consists of 545 members directly elected by the citizens of India for a term of five years and 245 members of Loksabha elected by the State legislative assemblies for the two years term.
