< x  is  90 degrees  because triangle ABC is isosceles and AD bisects < BAC.
Triangle BAD is right angled so < y = 90 - <ABD
<ABD = <ACD ( because triangle ABC is isosceles
So < ABD = 47 degrees
Finally y  = 90 - 47  = 43 degrees answer

Three consecutive integers add to 567. Find the integers. PLEASE HELP
Aleks04 [339]
Consecutive integers mean one after the other and their difference would one more or less.

Let the numbers be x, x +1, x +2.

Therefore x + (x+1) + (x +2) = 567
               3x + 3 = 567
               3x = 567 -3 = 564
               3x = 564  Divide by 3.
                 x  = 564/3
                 x  = 188
Therefore integers  x, x +1, x +2 = 188, 188+1, 188+2.
                                                =  188, 189, 190.
Cheers.

How many ways are there to choose a committee of 3 people from a group of 9 people?
QveST [7]
C r = (n!)/(r!(n-r)!)
9 C 3 = (9!)/(3!*(9-3)!)
9 C 3 = (9!)/(3!*6!)
9 C 3 = (9*8*7*6!)/(3!*6!)
9 C 3 = (9*8*7)/(3!)
9 C 3 = (9*8*7)/(3*2*1)
9 C 3 = (504)/(6) 9 C 3 = 84

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Factorize 175 and 50

175 = 5 * 5 * 7

50  = 5 * 5 * 2

\frac{\sqrt[3]{175}}{\sqrt[3]{}50}=\sqrt[3]{\frac{175}{50}}\\\\\\ =\sqrt[3]{\frac{5*5*7}{5*5*2}}\\\\\\=\sqrt[3]{\frac{7}{2}}

The perimeter of a rectangle is 46 cm,<br> The length is 13 cm. What is the width?
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

10 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that the perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+w)

given that the perimeter is 46 cm and length is 13 cm, so by putting the values we get,

2(13+w)=46

= 26+2w=46 (opening the brackets)

= 2w= 46-26

= 2w=20

= w=20/2

w= 10 cm

Cheers.
