First, we need to find out how much the price increased by.

$4.50 - $3.75 = $0.75

Now we have to figure out what percent $0.75 is of $3.75. To do this, we divide $0.75 by $3.75.

The answer is 0.2. Now, we convert this into a percent by moving the decimal to the right by to spaces: 0.2 = 20%

The percent of increase is 20%.

X - y = 1
Convert the equation from standard form to slope-intercept form.
Nata [24]

Answer:

y=x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation is currently in standard form which is a+b=y and slope-intercept is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. To change the form we must move the terms around using Properties of Equality.

First, subtract 1 from both sides

x-y-1=1-1

x-y-1=0

Then, add y to both sides

x-y-1+y=0+y

x-1=y

So that is the equation in slope-intercept form with a slope of 1 and a y-intercept of -1.

Find the volume of each figure. Round your answers to the nearest hundredth, if necessary. Leave your answers in terms of pi for
madam [21]

Answer:

D. 125π km³

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

Where,

radius, r = 5 km

Height, h= 5 km

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

= π × (5 km)² × 5 km

= π × 25 km² × 5 km

= 125π km³

The answer is D. 125π km³

The first one would be the Commutative property of multiplication because you are just flipping a multiplication equation.

The second one would be Commutative property of addition because you are still just flipping it but, it is an addition equation.
