How do you spell weiner
blagie [28]

In many cases, you can't nail down the spelling of a word without knowing
what it means.

You didn't tell us what your word means, so there are different possibilities.
Here are a few:

-- In old German, a wagon driver was a wagner (VOG-nair) or weiner (VEIN-air).
As the Yiddish language (spoken among German Jews) developed from old high
German, some of them used the same word 'weiner' to mean 'one who makes or
sells wine'. The word came to the New World as a family name, spelled "Viner",
(as in my first high school crush).

-- The ancient city of Vienna, now the capital of modern Austria, is called "Wien"
(VEEN) in the languages around there. A person who was born or raised there
is called a Wiener (VEEN-air). Also, a small sausage that became popular there
was also called a Wiener. That's where we got the slang term 'weener' for a hot
dog or anything that resembles one.

-- A little kid who whimpers and whines all the time is called a whiner.

So the spelling really often depends on what your word means. That's one
reason why, in a spelling bee, they always give you a sentence along with
the word.

vodka [1.7K]

Akela keeps calm in stressful situations and is not easily upset or disturbed.

Explanation:

Akela is a gray lone wolf and the leader of the Pack. He is wise and fair, making decisions and keeping the Pack working and strong from the top of Council Rock.

He went out of his way to protect Mowgli as a cub and this debt is repaid when Mowgli saves the jungle from the red dogs. Akela is a source of great knowledge and inspires great respect from the rest of the Pack.

He's kind and honorable, unlike most of the other wolves. The younger wolves want Akela gone, because they feel Akela is old and they feel they don't need a leader.

Alexxx [7]

You have been asked to do an opinion essay. The following will guide you on how to write an opinion essay effectively.

What is an Opinion essay?

An Opinion essay is an essay that simply requires you to pen down your ideas in a coherent and logical way.

One of the key objectives of an opinion essay is to present a strong point of view that is rational and logical.

In this case, you have been asked to make a case for why you would prefer a type of speaker to come to your school.

Your essay must be organized as follows:

 • Introduction (One paragraph)
 • Body (three paragraphs)
 • Conclusion (One paragraph)

The two critical aspects of your essay are the introduction and the body.

The introduction must be strong enough to get and keep the attention of the reader. Limit your points in the body to three: one for each paragraph.

Your conclusion should be a summary of your key points. Do ensure there are no grammatical errors.

Explain how darry and ponyboy play tug of war with soda in the outsiders
Helga [31]
Soda is the middle child, and as the most amiable of the three, he often gets caught in-between Ponyboy and Darry when they clash. Ponyboy and Darry often argue, and when they do, they both want Soda to be on their side, forgetting that he has his own problems too. In Chapter 12, this is clearly illustrated when Darry confronts Ponyboy about his behavior since the deaths of their friends. Ponyboy retorts, "You'd like that, wouldn't you" You'd like me just to get out. Well, it's not that easy, is it, Soda?" Soda responds by crying "Don't", and runs out of the house, shocking Darry and Ponyboy, who, in being so wrapped up in his own battles, have never considered that he had troubles of his own and needs their support sometimes too. Soda tells them, "I can't stand to hear y'all fight. Sometimes...it's like I'm the middleman in a tug o' war and I'm being split in half".
