9. Between Dolittle's Raid and The Battle of Midway, what facts show that America damaged
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

it showed that japan does not have a superior navy and that they were not safe no matter where they were

Explanation:

the Doolittle raid was a operation of where 2 carriers with b25-b bombers were sent on a secret mission to bomb japan and show that they were not safe despite being half way across the world, which made japan panic when those bombers successfully bombed japan, and during midway the US had the upper hand because they recently decoded there messages so they knew what the Japanese were communicating to each other and after the battle being won by the US, 3 of japans strongest carriers; the Akagi, Kaga, and Soryu were hit, set ablaze, and abandoned.  which also devastated japan because they could exactly build new carriers when the US had cutoff all trade with japan after pearl harbor so they could not get the materials needed to build new ships.
