Hey there!

In order to solve this particular problem, we need to do PEMDAS , if you don't know what "PEMDAS" is, it is Parentheses \\ Exponents \\ Multiplication \\ Division \\ Addition\\ Subtraction

Lets solve this problem, shall we?

17 - 3 = 14

Problem becomes: (14 ) * (14 - 6) - 22

14 - 6 = 8

Problem becomes: (14)(8) -22

14(8) = 112

Problem becomes: 112 - 22 = 90

Answer: 90

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

Amanda [17]
P(8 or 12) = 1/6
P(not 8 or 12 = 5/6
Let the expected points fro one roll be X.
E(X)=9\times\frac{1}{6}-2\times\frac{5}{6}=-\frac{1}{6}\ points
