Roger williams, a puritan, believed that the business of church and state should remain separate. he thought the government shou

ld not support or interfere with the any particular church. this policy is in effect in the us today. do you believe this is a good policy? why or why not?

I believe this policy is good, because if the government were to support a particular church, they would have to support all churches to insure religious equality, upon which the country was founded.
