Answer: A) Repetition of vowel sounds in a line of poetry.

Explanation: In poetry or literature in general, assonance is a literary device that consists in the similarity in sound between two syllables that are consecutive or close together, this similarity is produced by the same vowels but different consonants. It can be an alternative to rhymes. In literature we can find countless examples of assonance, an example is "Hear the mellow wedding bells" by Edgar Allan Poe.

Write a poem on the perspective of rainsford from the story the most dangerous game
Step2247 [10]

I'm not quite sure what kind of poem you are looking for but I hope this helps:

Running

Running for my life

Hiding

I hide from the hunter

Or the last place I'll be

Is six feet under

Just like all the others

But then I would lose

Lose the game

The Most Dangerous Game

Of man hunting man

Instincts

My instincts are quick

A trap meant for me

Is the last thing his dog sees

The waves engulf me

But not for long

I swim around to a new shore

And don't bother knocking at his door

By means of challenge

I struggle and win

My name is Rainsford

And I beat Zaroff at his own game

The Most Dangerous Game

Describe your experience of the first day at online class in about 120 words
FrozenT [24]
In my first week of virtual school I got to experience loads of interesting things, I really got to enjoy this first week because it was something new that I’ve never tried or thought I will get the opportunity to go through,I’m glad I got to experience online classes because it’s overall more calm and less stressful which makes me actually get excited to do class since it’s not such as overwhelming and stressful as in person class. My favorite part of virtual school learning is that, it’s easier to concentrate and get my work done since there isn’t a lot going on around me.Online learning would have to be an exciting experience overall because not many people will ever get to experience virtual classes on a daily caused by a huge dangerous pandemic.

In the sentence toward the middle of the final paragraph (“But if Wyoming . . . choose to live here”), the author uses subordina
Paraphin [41]

Answer: emphasize that statewide changes depend on individual choices

Explanation: Writers frequently use subordination to signal an imbalance or inequality between ideas. In the sentence toward the middle of the final paragraph, the author uses the subordinate clause “if Wyoming is going to be a more diverse place” to identify a situation that could exist in the future. She then uses an independent clause to reveal the condition that must be met for this situation to exist—“people have to choose to live” there. By organizing the sentence this way, the author places an emphasis on what individuals must do in order to change the state of Wyoming as a whole.
