Was the United States justified in its invasion of Cuba (i.e. the Bay of Pigs)? What U.S. values

Answer:

The Bay of Pigs invasion, also known as the Girón beach invasion, was a military operation or warlike act in which Cuban exile troops, supported by the US government, invaded Cuba in the years of 1961, to try to form a provisional government. to replace that of Fidel Castro and seek the support of the Organization of American States (in addition to the recognition of the international community). The action ended in failure within a few hours of the attack. It was completely crushed by the militias and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba (FAR) that put a limit to all this by ending it. More than a hundred invading soldiers died, and the Cuban army captured 1,200, along with important war material.

Explanation:

One of the most important causes of all this was that the subsequent agreements with the Soviet Union definitively convinced the United States that the new Cuba was a danger to its global strategy. In the oval office of the White House an invasion of the island began to be plotted, for which the exiles living in Miami would be used as military forces, which in the end would give a vision more of "liberation" than of invasion itself bliss.

Who should be taxed according to Henry George's ‘single tax’ theory?
Rasek [7]

Answer:

All of the society

Explanation:

Henry George has had a theory and pushed for it to be accepted. His theory was that the economic renting of land should be shared by the whole society. Basically he had a communist idea. His ideal was that the whole land to be nationalized, so the government would have full control over it, its development, control, planning, organizing. This also meant that all the people should work on the nationalized land, thus for the government, meaning that the society would have made one very big step toward communism.

What was one drawback of the mill villages during the industrial era? (multiple choice)
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

They left many workers in debt to their employers.

Explanation:

The mill villages were something that was found very remarkable during the 19th century industrial development in the area known as the Blackstone River Valley. The very first textile mill was successfully built in 1793 by Samuel Slater and he later employed over thirty staff and they were mostly children.

Company villages were built by mill owners who wanted to use that as a philanthropic means to earn the loyalty of their workers. The company established stores and other small businesses like Barber shops. These businesses were easily assessed by workers living in those villages but that also made the millhands to remain in debt to their employers.
