In literature, rhythm is the pattern of stressed and also  unstressed beats. Rhythm it  is most commonly found in poetry, although it is also present in some works of drama and prose. The rhythm of a poem can also  be analyzed through the number of lines in a verse, the number of syllables in the line, and also the arrangement of the  syllables are  based on whether they are very long or very  short, and also accented or unaccented.

Rhythm can be described as timed movement through space; an easy, connected path along which the eye follows a regular arrangement of motifs. The presence of rhythm creates predictability and order in a composition. Visual rhythm may be best understood by relating it to rhythm in sound.
