In literature, rhythm is the pattern of stressed and also  unstressed beats. Rhythm it  is most commonly found in poetry, although it is also present in some works of drama and prose. The rhythm of a poem can also  be analyzed through the number of lines in a verse, the number of syllables in the line, and also the arrangement of the  syllables are  based on whether they are very long or very  short, and also accented or unaccented.

Rhythm can be described as timed movement through space; an easy, connected path along which the eye follows a regular arrangement of motifs. The presence of rhythm creates predictability and order in a composition. Visual rhythm may be best understood by relating it to rhythm in sound. Read these stanzas from “The Chimney Sweeper.” What is the best summary of the events the stanzas describe?
Lena [83]

Answer:

B) Tom dreamed that sweepers died and went to heaven.

Explanation:

<u>William Blake's poem "The Chimney Sweeper" from his "Songs of Innocence"</u> is a poem about young children who were hired as chimney sweepers during the 18th century English society. This poem delves into the unhealthy and deplorable conditions of children who had to earn a living doing a work that is risky and even dangerous to their well being.

In the given stanzas of the poem, the speaker talks about how Tom Dacre had a dream one night and saw an angel with <em>"a bright key"</em>. This angel promised to set them free if they obediently do their work as chimney sweepers. In a way, the angel is justifying this child labor, which the author Blake strongly opposes. The poem is a critique of society where child employment occurs on a large scale and young people suffer the most. Thus, the <u>best summary of the given stanzas is that Tom dreamed that many sweepers died and went to heaven.</u>

How does Peewee respond when a soldier who is physically larger insults him? What do his actions reveal about his character? (fa
lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

The Explanation is below

Explanation:

In the first chapter of Fallen Angels, Peewee called a big fellow soldier, who is physically larger than him, "a ugly a** C**g," in return the soldier insulted him, by calling him "boy".

However, Peewee responded by turning and looking as if he were going to stand at ease. Instead he shot both legs into the ranger's crotch. This in turn made big soldier bend over, thereby making Peewee punched him on the side of the head. Peewee then later brought out his knife from the beneath the pillow.

Hence, thus shows Peewee to be a stubborn and trouble maker, someone who enjoy messing around with people, by quickly picking a fight whenever opportunity presents itself.
