How do the X- and Y-coordinates change when a figure is translated right a units and down b units?
2 answers:
Hey there, The x and y coordinates change as a shape or figure moves up and down, left or right. As something goes up numbers get bigger and down the numbers get smaller. Hope I helped :)
Translating right means to move horizontal on the x axis changing the x coordinate. same for y coordinate but going up means moving vertically
