Which biotic and abiotic factors are different between a lion and a deer?
nevsk [136]
They are both biotic factors because they affect living organisms. The abiotic factor a lion and deer needs is water because they need to stay hydrated but water is not living . Deers eat plants, plants are known as biotic factors too. And lions eat their prey which are living animals and once they are preyed upon they are still considered biotic because they were once living before getting consumed by the lion.

Explain how the same four nitrogen bases contribute to the variation seen between you and other humans.
Alexandra [31]

The four nitrogen bases contribute to the variation between humans because the order of nucleotides determines phenotypic features associated with genetic inheritance.

  • In DNA, there are four types of nucleotides, each containing one different nitrogen base.

  • The four nitrogen bases in DNA nucleotides are Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Thymine.

  • The linear order of these nucleotides in genes largely determines the phenotypic features associated with genetic inheritance.

In conclusion, the four nitrogen bases contribute to the variation between humans because the order of nucleotides determines phenotypic features associated with genetic inheritance.
