Answer:

100 possible extensions

Step-by-step explanation:

we can calculated how many possible extensions they have to try using the rule of multiplication as:

___1_____*___10_____*___10_____*____1____ = 100

1st digit        2nd digit        3rd digit         4th digit

You know that the 1st and 4th digits of the extension are 5. it means that you just have 1 option for these places. On the other hand, you don't remember nothing about the 2nd and 3rd digit, it means that there are 10 possibles digits (from 0 to 9) for each digit.

So, There are 100 possibles extensions in which the 5 is the first and last digit.

Please help, I've been working on this for 30 min now...
MaRussiya [10]

Step 1: Y is equal to \frac{3}{4}x + 2 so where ever you see a y in the equation 3x - 4y = -5 replace it with \frac{3}{4}x + 2

3x - 4(\frac{3}{4}x + 2) = -5

Now all your variables are x and you can solve for x

Step 2: Distribute for to the numbers in the parentheses

3x - 3x - 8 = -5

Step 3: Combine like terms

0x - 8 = -5

0x = 3

Step 4: Isolate x

0x/0 = 3/0

3/0 is undefined

^^^ This means that there is no answer

If you look at the graph below you can see that these lines are parallel and therefore have no intersection point

Hope this helped!

The sellers, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez, listed their property for $112,000 and agreed to an exclusive right to sell listing agreeme
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

commission = $4,240 ; A

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

- Property listed value = $112,000

- The listing period value = $106,000

- Commission = 4%

Find:

How much commission, if any, would Lucky Nines Real Estate Company be entitled to at closing?

Solution:

- We need to know that the commission is gained on the sold value of listing period not the listed value originally. Hence, the amount of commission paid is:

                               commission = Rate*listing period value

                               commission = 0.04*$106,000

                              commission = $4,240
