14.50 + 9.99 + 48 is 72.49 and the sales tax which is 8.2 when turned into a decimal is .082 so next you multiply 72.49 with 0.082 and your tax will be 5.94418 now you add 72.49 with 5.94418 and you will get 78.43418 now you need to round to the nearest cent which is gonna be 418 rounded into 43 but the 4 in the thousandths place is not the number 5 or bigger so you cant round up so it stays as 78.43 so A or 78.43 is your answer

Find the coordinates of point, P, which divides the line segment from A = (0, 4) to B = (6, 8) in a ratio of 2:1.
anastassius [24]
When a point divide a line segment A (x1,y1) B (x2,y2) into a ration of a:b, the coordinates of that point is x1+[a/(a+b)](x2-x1), y1+[a/(a+b)](y2-y1)
so x=0+(2/3)(6-0)=4
y=4+(2/3)(8-4)=6&2/3 (mixed number 6 and 2 over 3)
(4, 6&2/3) is the answer.
