An action taken by employers or by the government against workers who wanted to organize was? collective bargaining boycotts uni
Deffense [45]

The correct answer is C) union busting.

An action taken by employers or by the government against workers who wanted to organize was union busting.

Employers did not want to give any concession to workers, although workers gained more power when they formed labor unions. Employers had to use union busting tactics. These actions aimed to end, disrupt or break the formation or the spread of unions in the United States. These actions some times were legal, other times were illegal, in a few of them were violent.

How might internal dissent in European states have led to World War I?
Ivahew [28]
European leaders might have diverted attention away from internal dissent and problems by rallying their nations to the cause of war.

The nations of Europe were struggling to adjust to societal changes brought on by industrialization.  There were workers strikes and rising socialist movements that caused internal tensions between the ruling classes and the working class.  In some parts of Europe, such as the Austro-Hungarian Empire, nationalistic fervor by different ethnic groups was causing unrest within their borders also.   Solving a nation's internal problems posed great difficulties.  It was easier to point to other nations as the great threat and problem to their people's security.  It seemed to leaders that "prosecuting an active foreign policy" (as some Austrian leaders put it) was a way to suppress internal domestic troubles.

I know this isn't too helpful, but I think each 'seven' mentioned is possibly a time...

seven 'sevens' = 7 weeks

sixty-two 'sevens' = 62 weeks, over a year

Again I'm sorry this isn't too helpful...
