His name was Bob. Johnny killed him with a switchblade because he was beaten up by him before and he was going to drown Ponyboy. Johnny and Ponyboy go to an abandoned church to hideout. Dally Winston helped them get there and he also went there to pick them up when everything died down. Johnny dies from burn because the church lit on fire and kids were inside. Johnny and Ponyboy ran inside the building to save the kids and Johnny got hurt the worst. This story was actually an extra credit assignment for Ponyboy's English teacher to bring his grade back up.
