Answer:

Viruses are living organisms when they infect a body. Depending on a lysogenic or lytic life cycle, the virus spreads through a body. Lytic life cycle means that the virus will basically force the host cell to create replicas of the virus by implanting its DNA into the nucleus. A lysogenic life cycle means that the virus can hide in the host cell for a long period of time by implanting itself into the DNA of the host cell and when that cell divides, it takes the virus with it. Overall, the lytic cycle is the fastest and most dangerous method of reproduction of a virus, although the lysogenic cycle lasts for much longer.

"One of the two major systems that are affected by the stress response is the ____________, which results in increased productio
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

The correct answer is the endocrine system.

Explanation:

The sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system and the endocrine system are the two prime systems that take part in the stress response.

At the time of acute or chronic stress, the endocrine system first makes the hypothalamus to discharge CRH or corticotropin-releasing hormone into the bloodstream. The release of CRH further makes the anterior pituitary to discharge ACTH or adrenocorticotropic hormone into the blood. This further stimulates the adrenal cortex to discharge cortisol, that is, one of the glucocorticoid hormone into the bloodstream.

The cortisol finally makes the organs and tissues present within the body to effectively cope up with the initial stress stimulus.

In a hypothetical situation, a bacterium lives on the surface of a leaf where it obtains nutrients from the leaf's nonliving wax
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

Mutualism= since the neither the bacteria nor the plant  was  disturbed with relationship, but rather benefited from  one another. The bacteria only feed on the waxy covering on the leaf's  surfaces,  which is nonliving and has no effect on it living tissues, while the   plants benefited through inhibition of other bacteria growth on it tissues ; this is Mutualism since the two organism plants and bacteria interrelate and belong to different species.

Pathogenic -since bacteria fed on the plant tissues and cause damages, this is pathogenic.it may lead to infection. The bacteria is said to be Pathogenic bacteria for this single act.
