The building of monumental cathedrals in the middle ages was a reflection of faith and the channel for much of the creative energy of medieval European society.
Buy furniture, blinds, technology, etc, that was produced in 1961.
They would likely have to be bought secondhand if you want them to be authentic since I doubt stores would stock old furniture. (Maybe thrift, I dont know)
