To incite is to to stir, encourage, or urge on; stimulate or prompt to action, so technically, the only thing that may cause that would be responsibility (option B). Although, without any proper context, I can't say it too confidently. Abandonment would make her feel helpless and confused, an interrogation seems like action has already been taken, and another protagonist would cause.....mixed feelings honestly.

Discuss the rights of all animals to live with dignity and safety about the ill treatment often mate out to street dogs
ahrayia [7]
All animals deserve to be treated with respect and it is a measure of society of how its citizens treat animals how humane it is. Street dogs ie dogs without owners who roam the streets deserve humane treatment just as much or more than dogs with caring owners and compassion for their welfare. Many animals like dogs and cats provide us with affection and loyalty and so deserve our caring attention.

Answer:

D. Algernon pokes fun at the fact that marriage in his society often is based on social rules, not romance.

Explanation:

Oscar Wilde's comedy "The Importance of Being Ernest" revolves around a wealthy gentleman Algernon Moncrieff and his friend John Worthing. The story delves into themes of society, love, social status and the unnecessary belief in their alter egos' world that enables them to enjoy their lives.

In the given dialogue between the two men, Algernon seemed critical of Jack's decision to marry Gwendoline. For, according to Algy, love is <em>"business"</em> and something which Jack feels is <em>"unromantic".</em> But as Algy had rightly said, and considering 19th century England's society, it is only right to assume that marriage is a matter of social class rather than romance or love.

Thus, the correct answer is option D.
