Answer:

<em>The correct answer to the question is the Quiet Revolution</em>

Explanation:

<em>Quiet Revolution refers to a time  of intense socio-cultural and socio-political change in the Canadian province of Québec, identified  by the effective secularization of government, the development of a state-run welfare state, and reorganization of politics into separatist and federalist (or separatist) groups and final election of a pro-sovereignty provincial government in the 1976 election.</em>

<em>It was also a movement, which lobbied for political and economic equality and french control over businesses in Québec, created in the 1960s.</em>

Here are the main points for an informative speech about the history of the @ symbol. I. The first recorded use of the @ symbol
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

Here are the main points for an informative speech about the history of the @ symbol.

I. The first recorded use of the @ symbol was in 1536 to represent units of wine.

II. In later centuries, the @ symbol was used to mean "at the rate of" or "at the cost of."

III. Today’s @ symbol came into use in 1971 in the first e-mail ever sent.

These main points are arranged in <em><u>chronological</u></em> order.

Explanation:

Chronology is one of the auxiliary sciences of history. Its purpose is to determine the temporal order of historical events. Events happen in a place and at a specific time. Space and time are two coordinates that allow us to understand reality. A chronological order is an order established based on a temporal sequence. The expression is often used to account for real historical events or fictional narratives where events are presented in a virtual temporal order.

It is important to distinguish the <em>chronological order</em> from a <em>temporal succession</em>. Both are closely linked but differ in fundamental circumstances. Indeed, temporal succession is the order that events have over time. In a different way, the chronological order usually refers to the way in which real events are enunciated. Indeed, the chronological order is a type of circumstance related to discourse, and therefore, to communication.

Explain what is meant by manifest destiny and describe how belief in that idea was the main reason that the u.s going to mexico
kirill115 [55]

In the 1840s, the U.S was struck with the idea of <em>manifest destiny</em>. An idea that America should control North America from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. Mexico had the legal right to Texas thus dominated California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Two territories stood in America's way of accomplishing the manifest destiny idea; first, the Oregon Territory that was occupied by both Great Britain and the United States and the Western and Southwestern areas owned by Mexico.   The differences between the United States and Mexico over the border of Texas led to the Mexican American War that resulted in American gaining ownership of Arizona, California,  New Mexico, and Texas. The ownership of these territories fulfilled the '<em>Manifest Destiny' </em>of the U.S stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific, Manifest Destiny.
