Can somebody help me please! And explain I appreciate it!!!

Answer:

54 beads

Step-by-step explanation:

1 hexagon = 6

2 hexagons = 10

3 hexagons = 14

Based on the pattern shown above +4 you can create an equation from this to help support finding the amount.

y = 4x + 6

y - total amount

4x - amount that is added by

6 - initial amount for 1 hexagon

Based on this you plug in 12 into x and you will find the answer:

y = 4(12) + 6

= 48 + 6

= 54

If you need to check the work honestly drawing it out, but this equation can also be supported based on the 3rd diagram of hexagon, where the initial is 6 and then 4 are added each time afterwards!!!

Answer:

\sqrt[]{\frac{x+8}{4}}-3

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=4(x+3)^2-8

First rewrite g(x) as y

y=4(x+3)^2-8

Now swap y and x

x=4(y+3)^2-8

Add 8 on both sides.

x+8=4(y+3)^2-8+8

x+8=4(y+3)^2

Divide by 4.

\frac{x+8}{4} =\frac{4(y+3)^2}{4}

\frac{x+8}{4}=(y+3)^2

Extract the square root on both sides.

\sqrt[]{\frac{x+8}{4}}=\sqrt[]{(y+3)^2}

\sqrt[]{\frac{x+8}{4}}=y+3

Subtract 3 on both sides.

\sqrt[]{\frac{x+8}{4}}-3=y+3-3

\sqrt[]{\frac{x+8}{4}}-3=y

9.) A new basketball is $10.95 and is 20% off. The sales tax is 7%.
blagie [28]

If you are trying to find the cost of the basket ball, it is $8.15.

Step 1: Find 20% of 10.95- which is 2.19- and subtract 2.19 from 10.95-which is 8.76.

Step 2: Find 7% of 8.76-which is 0.6132- and subtract 0.6132 from 8.76-which is 8.1468

Step 3: Round to the nearest hundredth, which gives you 8.15.

Thus, $8.15 is your answer.

The equation 3x + 6 = 12 involves two operations performed on x: multiplication by 3 followed by addition of 6. What operations
BlackZzzverrR [31]
3x + 6 = 12
First operation was subtraction (subtracting 6 to leave 3x alone)
Second operation was division (Dividing 3 from 3x to isolare x)

3x + 6 = 12
3x + 6 -(6) = 12 - 6
3x = 6

\frac{3x}{3} = \frac{6}{3}
3 and 3 cancels out
x = 2
