Answer:

first number = 78

second number = 72

third number = 156

Step-by-step explanation:

first number = a

second number = b

third number = c

we have

b=a-6   equation 1

c=2a     equation 2

a+b+c=306    equation 3

using equation 1 and equation 2 in equation 3 we have

a+a-6+2a=306

4a=306+6

4a=312

a=312/4

a=78= first number

b=78-6=72=second number

c=2*(78)=156 third number

Perform the operation and write the result in standard form <br> 3i/3+i+8/3-i
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

2.7 + 1.7i

We require the fractions to have a common denominator.

multiply the numerator of the first fraction by (3 - i) and the numerator of the second fraction by (3 + 1)

= \frac{3i(3-i)+8(3+i)}{(3+i)(3-i)}

= \frac{9i-3i^2+24+8i}{9-i^2}

[ note that i² = (\sqrt{(-1)^2} = - 1]

= \frac{17i+27}{10} = 2.7 + 1.7i ← in standard form
