Answer:

Farmers generally responded to industrialization in the late nineteenth century in the following way "they rejected the mechanization of agriculture in order to avoid farm workers becoming unemployed".

Explanation:

Farmers formed the farmer's union during the late 19th century, which was a community of farmers battling for their relative rights as taxes and other problems would rise which forced some farmers to get into distress. As after the Civil War, agriculture had become more competitive.

Formerly self-sufficient peasants were now relying for their livelihoods on investors, traders, and railroads.Such partnerships developed economic gain possibilities and also burdens, difficulties and dangers that were not welcomed by many farm workers. Thus with the advancement of technology, peasants knew they may probably be jobless, because of the sum of money they would end up losing.

I’m not familiar with the story of Tony Bennett and his invitation to sing the national anthem at the 1961 Preakness Stakes horse racing event, but then, Bob’s a little older than I am. However, Tony Bennett has on at least one occasion — and I suspect more — sung America The Beautiful in place of The Star Spangled Banner.

marusya05 [52]

When the president appoints judges to serve in federal courts, they can remain on the bench for how long they wish. According to the "good behavior" principle, the only exception exists if a Congressional impeachment takes place (which is very rare). The lifetime appointment has its pros and cons:

PROS

 • Judges' decisions are free from political pressure since they're not worried about whether they'll be reelected.
 • The longer he/she spends on the bench allows them to develop a greater knowledge regarding the law and specific cases before them.

CONS

 • Judges appointed for life might get comfortable and start creating their own laws from the bench.
 • These judges under lifetime appointment are often subjected to bribes (political favors) and corruption.
