Answer:I think it was necessary for the U.S.A. to fight in the Korean War to show Russia we wouldn’t allow them to spread Communism. If we didn’t fight in the war, communism could of become strong an spread even more. Since the U.S.A fought in the war, we showed that Russia couldn’t take over Korea. Fighting in the Korean War stopped Communism from spreading into Korea
