Hi, I’m Lena and I will be answering your question to the best of my ability. If you have any further questions after my answer, do not hesitate to ask me! ツ

♡ Let’s look at the main important thing(s) that will lead you in the correct path.

♥ Key words. You should always look for key words in a passage. For example, if you see "bounced with joy" in a passage, it will most likely be happy.

♡ Let's solve the question together.

The house dog lay stretched out on the floor,

Where the shade, afternoons, used to steal;

The busy old wife by the open door,

Was turning the spinning wheel,

And the old brass clock on the mantle tree,

Had plodded along to almost three.

♥ Again, look for key words. We can see stretched and shade. That gives us a clue that it's calm. We can also use POE, meaning process of elimination. At first glance, it may seem sad, but there's nothing to be sad about. There's nothing hopeless or too happy, so it's calm.

If you could change the instrument you play would you or wouldn't you? Tell me why.
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

I wouldn't because then I would have to start all over from the beginning and take more time to learn new material. Then, I have wasted all those years. Furthermore, instead of picking up a new instrument, I can further learn more material. Then, I can master that instrument. Later on, I can start learning a new instrument once I master the instrument I am on currently.

What is a negative consequence of using a eupheism?
MAVERICK [17]
Euphemism refers to substituting a harsh word or expression into a mild or indirect one. The negative consequence of using a euphemism is that people may find it as beating around the bush or not telling the truth. On the other hand, it could be interpreted by other people differently.
