Air pressure causes all the hurricanes. Evaporation causes hurricanes to grow bigger, and the winds cause the water to evaporate, making the hurricane get even bigger.

Generally, hurricane causes transfer of heat from the ocean to the atmosphere through evaporation. The evaporation of water from the sea surface into the atmosphere is enhanced by hurricane's surface wind, which transport the water vapours to the part of the atmosphere called troposhpere. The wind speed in an hurricane is directly related to the surface pressure of a storm, the stronger the difference in the air pressure in the ocean surface, the higher the wind speed.
