The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 9696 meters. The length is 6 meters longer than twice the width. Find the dimensions of
nalin [4]

length = 3234 m and width = 1614 m

let the width = w then length = 2w + 6

Perimeter = 2 ( length + width )

               = 2 (2w + 6 + w ) = 2 ( 3w + 6 ) = 6w + 12

given perimeter = 9696 the equating gives

6w + 12 = 9696

subtract 12 from both sides

6w = 9696 - 12 = 9684

divide both sides by 6

w = \frac{9684}{6} = 1614

width = 1614 m and length = (2 × 1614 ) + 6 = 3234 m

The rhombus QRST is made of two congruent isosceles triangles. Given m∠QTS = 64, what is the measure of ∠Q?
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

The measure of Q is 116

Step-by-step explanation:

For a Rhombus, opposite angles are equal

so angle R is 64 too

Now, we should understand that the diagonals bisect the angles

So the angles in the triangle QTR are

Q + 32 + 32 = 180

Q = 180-64

Q = 116 degrees
