History

Otrada [13]3 years ago

The biggest war that the world had ever experienced, and in which there were by far the most deaths was the World War II. It was a war started by the Axis Powers, and it was opposed by the Allied Powers. Millions of people ended up dead, injured, or displaced because of the war, and the countries suffered lot of damage as well. The war ended with a win for the Allied Forces. Once over, the Allied Forces put restrictions and surveillance over the countries that started the war, and focused them on economic development instead of military one. The people responsible for the war were sentenced to prison. Unfortunately, after the war, the different interests of the two biggest powers, the US and the USSR, pushed the world into the Cold War period, which was a period of tension and fear of another war, lasting for half a century.

How did Booker T. Washington’s Atlanta Compromise Speech enable him to help provide educational opportunities for other African
musickatia [10]

This speech marked Washington's status as one of the most influential black leaders and educators in the United States. Washington served as an advisor to U.S. presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft, both men with deep racial biases. Washington was able to help Roosevelt and Taft select black candidates for nominal, traditionally black political positions. Washington also advised rich industrialists on how best to direct their money to support black education in the South and controlled the funding of most black southern schools.

The presence of many rivers and mountains protected China from invaders, and allowed their culture to grow with little outside i
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
True.
The Chinese culture did grow large and great without the help from any outside influence especially from the English who were literally taking over the world. Japan was getting semi influence from the Netherlands which they traded with. So yes the Chinese was protected by the natural geographic structure of the land.

Hope this helps
