The nurse should inform the parent that the reason that they need to scrub the baby's formula bottles because the newborn does not have a well developed immune system as it still young and by that, it is susceptible for acquiring disease, that is why the formula should be clean and well-scrub to avoid any necessary germs that the infant could acquire.
