Answer: The word "goal" means an aim that a person sets in his/her mind and intends to achieve. The sentence that reflects a goal is "Kathy practiced typing until she became very fast and accurate".

Explanation: A goal is an aim that a particular person commits to achieve within a period of time already fixed. In that way, a goal is a purpose that may be related to having access to a physical object or developing an ability. The sentence "Kathy practiced typing until she became very fast and accurate" is the one that reflects that Kathy worked hard to achieve a particular goal: typing in a fast and accurate way. Therefore, Kathy's goal is related to developing a specific ability.

What is ironic about the “Titanic” story in terms of the Greek myth that is named after?
den301095 [7]
What I got was : basically, 'titan' in the word titanic means gigantic. huge. titans in Greek mythology were strong, powerful, immortal, and god-like deities, and they were brought down by the Gods. That is the greek mythology that the word 'Titanic' is derived from.

What I would consider ironic and quite frankly, interesting, is the fact that the Titanic (ship) was large and strong—and it sunk, never to be seen ever again, it's glory reduced to nothingness. And the same goes for the titans : they were glorious, arrogant, and huge, and even then they were sunk, or rather, lowered by the Gods of Greek Mythology.
