The form is used to express the simple future tense WILL + VERB

Further explanation

The simple future tense is used to express an action that will happen in the future. The function of the simple future tense as follows:

 1. To predict something
 2. To express willingness
 3. The negative form to express unwillingness

For example:

 1. I will take you to the nearest hospital.
 2. My sister will cook for dinner tonight.
 3. Tom will arrive tomorrow morning.
 4. They will go to the water park today.
 5. It will rain this afternoon.

The negative form of the simple future tense is: S + WILL +NOT + VERB 1 and the interrogative sentence is WILL + S + VERB 1 +?

 1. I will not take you to the nearest hospital.
 2. Will you take me to the nearest hospital?
 3. My sister will not cook for dinner.
 4. Will my sister cook for dinner?
 5. Tom will arrive tomorrow morning.

There is another way to express simple future tense: S + GOING TO + VERB 1. It is used for something that we already planned.

 1. I am going to the dentist tomorrow.
 2. We are going to the Maldives for the summer holiday

Which excerpt from Hurston’s “John Redding Goes to Sea” is an example of nonstandard English?
Zielflug [23.3K]
You did not provide the possible excerpts, however, nonstandard English is any type of English language that is not standardized, meaning that is not grammatical or normative. Slang, jargon, incorrect grammar, dialects, all fall into the category of nonstandard English, so use that logic on your excerpts and find the correct one.
