How do our body systems depend on each other?

Biology

They all work to support one another and one system can not malfunction and still allow the body to maintain a state of homeostasis (a normal state of healthy being).

Respiratory System- Transports O2 to the rest of the body and expels Co2 (Ex. Lungs)

Lymphatic System- Cleanses the body of toxins and impurities (Ex. Lymph nodes)

Digestive System- Responsible for digestion and absorption of necessary nutrients needed to feed the body.

Cardiovascular System- Transports blood and O2 to the body.

Nervous System- Responsible for sending and receiving chemical messages to the rest of the body for functioning.

Skeletal System- Provides mobility and support for the body.

Musculoskeletal System- Provides movement and strength for the body.

Integumentary System- Provides protection to the body in the form of skin.

Reproductive System- Responsible for reproduction.

Urinary System- Responsible for flushing the system of fluids/impurities.

You cant have just one system "shut down" without it eventually affecting the other systems.

Unfortunately this is a huge question, hard to explain. They just do, they all rely on each other to function if one fails, the others go down with it, its team work! They all work together for the one result, Life.

BRAINLIESTTT ASAP!! PLEASE HELP ME :)

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

A derived unit is a unit that is derived from the SI base units. Examples are cm, m² and kg/m³.

Conversion factors are ratios of units that are equal to one.

Thus. you can multiply any measurement by a conversion factor to get its value in other units.

Here's a question that uses conversion factors:

How many centimeters are in 3.4m?

You know that "centi" means "× 10⁻²", so

1 cm = 10⁻² m

If you divide both sides by 1 cm, you get the ratio: 1 = 10⁻² m/1 cm.

If you divide both sides by 10⁻² m, you get the ratio: 1 cm/10⁻² m = 1.

Thus,

10⁻² m/1 cm = 1 cm/10⁻² m = 1

Both ratios are conversion factors because they both equal one and multiplying a measurement by one does not change its value.

You choose the conversion factor that gives you the correct dimensions for your answer. It must have the correct dimensions on top (in the numerator),

Thus, to convert 3.4 m to cm, you use the conversion factor with “cm” on top.

∴ Length = 3.4 m × (1 cm/10⁻²m ) = 340 cm

Notice that the unwanted units of "m" also cancel during the operation.

If you had used the other conversion factor, you would have gotten

Length = 3.4 m × (10⁻²m/1 cm) = 0.034 m²/cm

The units of the answer don't make sense, so you know you have used the wrong conversion factor.

Select the correct level on the energy pyramid.
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

The correct answer is-

C) Secondary Consumers.

Explanation:

According to the 10% rule of energy transfer, only 10 % of the energy is transferred from one trophic level to the next, remaining 90 % of the energy is utilized for various metabolic processes and released as heat in the surrounding.

Let us consider the amount of energy present at first trophic level (Producers is 10,000 kJ. As per 10% rule, the energy transfer to Primary Consumers will be 1000 kJ, which will transfer 100 kJ to Secondary Consumers.

In this way, Tertiary Consumers will get 10 kJ and finally apex consumers will get 1 kJ of energy.

Thus, Secondary Consumers have approximately 100 times more energy than the apex consumer level.

As seen from your current location, when will an upright flagpole cast no shadows because the sun is directly above the flagpole
SOVA2 [1]
When the sun is facing E, in your location, the shadows are far less from any other direction.
This would place your flagpole rt above the sun, therefore this statement is true. hope this helps, (artist by trade)..
