In math, the median of a set of numbers is the number that lays directly in the middle.

To find this out we must lay the number from either increasing to decreasing or decreasing to increasing:

100, 98, 94, 92, 90, 88, 84, 82, 78, 72,

Now, because we have an even number of numbers in our set, that means there is no exact middle number.

So to solve, you take the two numbers closest to the middle (90 & 88), add them up and divide by 2.

90 + 88 = 178

178 / 2 = 89

So the median is 89.

Hope this helps!

Solve for h.

h/3 + (-4) + -1
Elden [556K]
There is no answer to this question, as you have not provided us with an equal sign.

If I assume that the equation truly is “h/3+ (-4) + -1 = 0” the answer would be h=15.

Comment down below if there are any specifications on t other parts of the equation.

Select all the situations that can be represented by 1/2⋅5. * 1 point Diego lives 5 miles from school, and Elena lives 1/2 as fa
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

 • Elena lives 2.5 miles away from school.
 • The total liters of water is 2.5 liters
 • He can cut 10 pieces of rope of length 1/2 meter
 • The fraction of her goal she ran is 1/10

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question,

 • Diego lives 5 miles from school, and Elena lives 1/2 as far away as Diego

Therefore, Elena lives 1/2 of 5 miles away from school.

1/2 of 5 miles = 2.5 miles

Hence, Elena lives 2.5 miles away from school.

 • Jada has 5 bottles that each contain 1/2 liter of water.

Since each bottle contain 1/2 liter of water, then

The total liters of water is (1/2 × 5) liters

1/2 × 5 = 2.5 liters

Hence, the total liters of water is 2.5 liters

 • Noah has 5 meters of rope

To determine how many pieces of rope of length 1/2 meter he can cut,

Number of pieces of rope of length 1/2 meter that can be cut is 5 meter ÷ 1/2 meter

5 meter ÷ 1/2 meter = 10

Hence, he can cut 10 pieces of rope of length 1/2 meter.

 • Lin's goal is to run 5 miles. She ran 1/2 mile.

To determine what fraction of her goal that is,

First, she ran 1/2 mile out of 5 miles.

The fraction of her goal she ran is 1/2 mile ÷ 5 miles

1/2 mile ÷ 5 miles = 1/10

Hence, the fraction of her goal she ran is 1/10.

What is the value of x in the
triangle?
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

x = 75°

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of angles in a triangle: 180°

So,

50°+55°+x=180°

105°+ x = 180°

Subtract 105° from both sides

x = 75°

Issac shovels driveways to earn money. He can shovel 14 driveways in 8 hours. Earns $25.00 for each driveway. Issac is saving up
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

19 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Issac shovels driveways to earn money. He can shovel 14 driveways in 8 hours. Earns $25.00 for each driveway. Issac is saving up to buy a new computer that costs $831.25. How many hours does Issac need to work to earn enough money to purchase the computer?

Step 1 find the number of driveways to shovel

25x = $831.25

x = $831.25/25

= 33.25 driveways

Step 2

He can shovel

14 driveways = 8 hours

33.25 driveways = x

Cross Multiply

14x = 8 × 33.25

x = 8 × 33.25/14

x = 19 hours
