Separating the integral, we get the integral of 1/x minus the integral of 4/(x^2+1). From memory, I know that the integral of 1/x is ln(x). Next, I can separate the 4 from 4/(x^2+1), and I know from memory that the integral of 1/(x^2+1) is arctan(x). Therefore, your answer is ln(x)+C-4arctan(x)+C=ln(x)+4arctanx+C (Since C simply represents any number, we don't need to make it 2C. In addition, the C after 4arctan(x) and ln(x) could be different, so C-C would be some constant C too in this case)

∫[(1/x) - 4/x²+1)]dx = ∫(1/x)dx - 4∫(1/x²+1).dx

∫(1/x)dx  = lnx + c  and - 4∫(1/x²+1).dx = -4 arctanx +c

∫(1/x)dx - 4∫(1/x²+1).dx = lnx -4 arctanx +c (note that arctanx = tan⁻¹x)

Which shows one way to determine the factors of 4x3 + x2 – 8x – 2 by grouping? x2(4x + 1) – 2(4x + 1) x2(4x – 1) + 2(4x – 1) 4x2
Airida [17]
Looking at   <span>4x3 + x2 – 8x – 2, I see immediately that x^2 can be factored out of the first 2 terms => 4x^2(x+1)
and -2 out of the last 2 terms => -2(4x+1).

Notice how the factor (4x+1) shows up twice.

We can factor this (4x+1) out, obtaining   (x^2 - 2) (4x+1).  These are the desired factors, found "by grouping."

Danielle construct a scale model of a building with a rectangular base her model is 2 inches in length and 1 inch in width the s
Kitty [74]

Given:

a.) The scale of the model is 1 in equals 47 ft.

b.) Danielle constructs a scale model of a building with a rectangular base her model is 2 inches in length and 1 inch in width.

To be able to determine the actual area of the base, let's first identify the actual dimensions of the base.

We get,

\text{Length: 2 (inches) x }\frac{47\text{ ft.}}{1\text{ (inch)}}\text{ = 2 x }\frac{47\text{ ft.}}{1}\text{ = 94 ft.}\text{Width: 1 (inch) x }\frac{47\text{ ft.}}{1\text{ (inch)}}\text{ = 1 x }\frac{47\text{ ft.}}{1}\text{ = 47 ft.}

Let's now solve for the area of the base, since it is a rectangle, we will be using the formula below:

\text{ Area = L x W ; where L = Length and W = Width}

We get,

\text{ Area = L x W}\text{ = 94 ft. x 47 ft.}\text{ Area = 4,418 ft.}^2

Therefore, the actual area of the base is 4,418 ft.².

Please, help me. <br> What is it.
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

7³

Step-by-step explanation:

when dividing exponents that have the same base, you leave the base as the original (so in this case 7) and subtract the exponents (in this case it would be 9-6). that will be your new base and exponent.
