<span>The weeping of the guitar / begins

Personification is giving a non-human thing human-like traits. In this sentence the non-human thing is the guitar and it has the human trait of weeping. The first example seems like it could be personification because it has both human and non-human things in it. However, it is a metaphor comparing the stomach to a melon. The last two options are not even close.

How does wanda feel about the dresses game why does she say that she has a hundred dresses.
Margaret [11]

Wanda felt very happy.

She was a young woman who travelled far and in great poverty, making her feet filthy. She sought to get her companions' attention. She didn't realise people were making fun of her, so she felt quite good whenever she told a friend she had a hundred clothes.

The hundred dresses was a work from American children's author Eleanor Estes, who died on July 15, 1988, was also a children's librarian (born on May 9, 1906). She also produced the drawings for her book Ginger Pye, which was awarded the Newbery Medal. One of her novels received the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award, while three of her works received Newbery Honor Awards. Estes based her novels on her early 1900s experiences living in a small Connecticut village.
