Round 17 9/11 to the nearest whole number.
White raven [17]

Answer:

18

Explanation:

To round a decimal/fraction to a whole number (0,1,2,3 and so on...), you need to see what the incomplete part of the decimal is. 17 9/11 is approximately 17.82. 17.82 can then be rounded to 18. Hope this helped, and if you need any more help, just ask me :D

Please help me. Which statement explains how the sharecropping system kept emancipated slaves tied to the plantation land they h
Kipish [7]
But sharecroppers were still poor, and it was hard for them to save money to buy their own land. White land-owners liked that, because they didn't want black people to own their own land.

Many white farmers also became sharecroppers after the Civil War. In Mississippi, for instance, about a third of the white farmers were sharecroppers, and more than three-quarters of the black farmers were sharecroppers. Nearly all of the land-owners, though, were white. The white land-owners arranged things so that most sharecroppers could not make enough money sharecropping to buy their food and clothes. They ended up having to borrow money from the land-owners, and soon they were always in debt. The land-owners said they could not leave the land if they owed money, so in many places share-cropping ended up being a lot like slavery.

Diplomats from the United States acquired much less land than President Jefferson had hoped true or false
Tanzania [10]
False. Thomas Jefferson tried to negotiate with the indigenous peoples to purchase land, or to convert them to join the Americans in a peaceful way, seeking to have allies in the American Indians rather than they allied themselves with the British. He created the "program of civilization" to educate Amerindians in American life, and encouraged them to borrow money so that, after borrowing, they would have to settle their debts by selling their lands. Five tribes accepted the Civilization Program and joined Jefferson, known as "Five Civilized Tribes."
