Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

The correct answer is option D.

Explanation:

In 2008, as a financial crisis began to unfold in the United States, the FDIC raised the limit on insured losses to bank depositors from $100,000 per account to $250,000 per account.

During the financial crisis, there was a sense of panic. The regulators were concerned that depositors would expect their banks to crash and would fear that they may lose their money. The regulators expect the depositors to pull money back from their banks. The money supply will get reduced further. This will further reduce the money with banks. This could lead to even healthy banks to fail.

Raising the insurance limit would reassure depositors that their money was safe in banks and prevent a bank panic. This will further help to stabilize the financial system.

Answer:

the additional funds needed is $667,500

Explanation:

The computation of the additional funds by using AFN is shown below:

AFN is

= Increase in assets - increase in liabilities - addition to retained earnings

= ($4,000,000×25%) - ($900,000 × 25%) - 10,750,000 × .04( 1 - 0.75)

= $1,000,000 - $225,000 - $107,500

= $667,500

hence, the additional funds needed is $667,500

We simply applied the above formula so that the correct value could come

Which of the following involves trading partial ownership interests for capital?
siniylev [52]

The answer is: A. Equity financing

In most cases, companies choose to do this if they want to expand their operation.

Corporations  do this by selling the shares of their company to the public or a select group of investors. When the partial ownership is traded with capital, the corporations would have an obligation to share their profit to the shareholders in the form of dividend.

An increase in interest rates affects aggregate demand by A. shifting the aggregate demand curve to the left, reducing real GDP
Sergio039 [100]

Answer: B. shifting the aggregate demand curve to the right, increasing real GDP and lowering the price level.

Explanation: A low interest rate increases the demand for investment as the cost of investment falls with the interest rate. Thus, a drop in the price level decreases the interest rate, which increases the demand for investment and thereby increases aggregate demand.
