The social organization enabled it, with states governed and united under the power of abslolut monarchies.  The population was clasified in three different "social classes" named the Estates of the Realm.

At the top, but outside of the pyramid, the King and Queen were located,  as their power was supossed to be granted by God and the rest of the society were their servants. These were ranked in three groups with different degrees of social power. This supernational origin of the monarchy's power guaranteed the blind obedience of the other sectors, who believed to be under the protection of the royal family.

Right after monarchy, the most powerful group was the clergy (the First Estate) formed by the, the nobles (the Second), and finally peasants and bourgeoisie (the Third).

Landowners from the First and Second Estates rented their fields or small stores/businesses to members of the Third State who worked for a humble living and for the profit of their masters, either church authorities or nobles.

What is a diference between the president's formal and informal powers?
Vladimir79 [104]

Answer:

Formal powers are those powers that are explicitly stated; this means that the Constitution clearly states that the President has this power. Informal powers are inferred from the Constitution. Now some of these powers do require approval from Congress, but these are powers unique to the Presidency.
