The social organization enabled it, with states governed and united under the power of abslolut monarchies.  The population was clasified in three different "social classes" named the Estates of the Realm.

At the top, but outside of the pyramid, the King and Queen were located,  as their power was supossed to be granted by God and the rest of the society were their servants. These were ranked in three groups with different degrees of social power. This supernational origin of the monarchy's power guaranteed the blind obedience of the other sectors, who believed to be under the protection of the royal family.

Right after monarchy, the most powerful group was the clergy (the First Estate) formed by the, the nobles (the Second), and finally peasants and bourgeoisie (the Third).

Landowners from the First and Second Estates rented their fields or small stores/businesses to members of the Third State who worked for a humble living and for the profit of their masters, either church authorities or nobles.

write a paragraph explaining what lessons can be learned from the McCarthy era about what the U.S citizens need to protect in or
melisa1 [442]

The McCarthy Era was one of the darkest chapters in American History.  The U.S. government was so determined to root out Communist threats in their country.  Their suspicion was stronger than their better judgment and as a result, many innocent were unjustly accused of either being communist spies or sympathizers.  Some lost their careers while others were sentenced unjustly.  It is a grim reminder that we should let paranoia rule our actions.  We must also defend our freedoms against any unlawful arrest without any proof.  Our freedom and understanding is far too important for us to take for granted. That Era nearly took it away from us.  We must never let it happen again.
