If E=[-1,0,1,2,3,4] and F=[3,4,5,6,7,8] what is E U F?
KatRina [158]

E=\{-1,\ 0,\ 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4\}\\\\F=\{3,\ 4,\ 5,\ 6,\ 7,\ 8\}\\\\E\ \cup\ F=\{-1,\ 0,\ 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4,\ 5,\ 6,\ 7,\ 8\}

All elements from set E and from the set F. The same elements are only once.

I really need help with this
Andreyy89

Answer:

x = 67

Step-by-step explanation:

If the measure of the entire chord is 166°, then if you add the two angles that form it together, it will equal 166.

So,

x + 15 + x + 17 = 166

Simplify.

2x + 32 = 166

Subtract 32 from both sides.

2x = 134

Divide both sides by 2.

x = 67

I hope this helps! Feel free to ask any questions!

I need the answer to f(x)=2x+3
Y_Kistochka [10]
I don’t really know what you mean here but i guess you mean f(x)=2x+3=0

In that case:
F(x)=2x+3=0
Subtract 3 from both sides:
F(x)=2x=-3
Divide both sides by 2:
F(x)=x=-3/2.

Multiplying and factoring polynomial expressions (9th grade)
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

1. 2(a^2 + 3a + 9)

2. 5(x^2 - 1)

3. 3(t + 8)(t - 2)

4. n(4 - n)

Step-by-step explanation:

For 1, you can only factor out the constant from each.

For 2, you can also only factor out the constant, but remember that you include the 1 when dividing 5 by 5.

For 3, you can factor out the constant and the variables.

For 4, you can only factor out the variable.
