Sum of all angles in a triangle must equal 180

so

180 - (30 + 50)
= 180 - 80
= 100

answer:
third angle = 100

Remember that all of a triangle angles have to add up to 180 degrees. In that case, let's solve!: 30+50=80     180-80= 100

So the third angle is equal to 100. I hope this helped!!

In the bin there is a 45% chance of randomly selecting ripe avocados. If you are picking avocados from the bin, you keep inspect
Archy [21]

Answer:

0.6125

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

P(ripe avocados) = 0.45 , n = 5

by binomial distribution,

P(x=k) = ${\overset{n}C}_k P^k(1-P)^{n-k}$

P(2 ≤ x ≤ 3) = P(x=2) + P(x=3)

P(x=2) = ${\overset{5}C}_2(0.45)^2(0.55)^3$

           = 10 x (0.45)² x (0.55)³

           = 0.3369

P(x=3) = ${\overset{5}C}_3(0.45)^3(0.55)^2$

           = 10 x (0.45)³ x (0.55)²

           = 0.2756

So, P(2 ≤ x ≤ 3 ) = 0.3369 + 0.2756

                          = 0.6125

Perform the indicated operation<br> (1 – 3i)(5 + 5i)(4 – 1i) =
almond37 [142]

(1 - 3i)(5 + 5i)(4 - 1i)

= (5 + 5i - 15i - 15i²)(4 - 1i)

= (5 - 10i - 15i²)(4 - 1i)

= 20 - 40i - 60i² - 5i + 10i² + 15i³

= 20 - 45i - 50i² + 15i³

Write a rul for the sequence. Then find the unknown term<br> 3/10, 2/5 blank 3/5, 7/10
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

<u>The constant is to add 1/10 to the previous term, therefore the unknown term is 5/10 or 1/2.</u>

<u>And this is the rule:</u>

<u>aₙ = aₙ₋₁ + 1/10 ⇒ a₁ = 3/10</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's find the unknown term and the sequence:

1st term = 3/10

2nd term = 2/5 = 4/10

3rd term = x

4th term = 3/5 = 6/10

5th term = 7/10

<u>As we can see the constant is to add 1/10 to the previous term, therefore the unknown term is 5/10 or 1/2.</u>

<u>And this is the rule:</u>

<u>aₙ = aₙ₋₁ + 1/10 ⇒ a₁ = 3/10</u>

a₂ = a₁ + 1/10 ⇒ a₂ = 4/10 = 2/5 (Simplifying)

a₃ = a₂ + 1/10 ⇒ a₃ = 5/10 = 1/2 (Simplifying)

a₄ = a₃  + 1/10 ⇒ a₄ = 6/10 = 3/5 (Simplifying)

a₅ = a₄ + 1/10 ⇒ a₅ = 7/10

Find the value of x to the nearest tenth.
mafiozo [28]

For this case we have that, by definition of trigonometric relationships of rectangular triangles, the cosine of an angle is given by the division of the leg adjacent to the angle on the hypotenuse of the triangle. According to the figure we have:

Cosine (50) = \frac {6} {x}\\x = \frac {6} {cosine (50)}\\x = 9.3343

Thus, the value of x is 9.3

Answer:

x = 9.3
