Carbs are more like lines of carbon with hydrogen and oxygen sticking out while lipids are connected by an school glycerol I think. usually a triglyceride. and some have some for hydrogen(unsaturated) while other are full to the max(saturated) this determines weather it's canola oil or butter. I hope that helped?

Millions of years ago, a small population of birds lived on the Hawaiian Islands. Over time, this population evolved into more t
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

C. The bird population moved into and adapted to many different environments on the Hawaiian Islands.

Why:

When a species adapts itself to new environments certain features will change, such as beak size, wing use, and even height, these are all changed depending on what the species does and needs to survive. These birds all changed food sources which made them have to adapt their beaks over time to new sources, and natural color to over generations camouflage themselves better from predators.

(Hope this was a good explanation.)

A given mass of oxygen at room temperature occupies a volume of 500. 0 ml at 1. 50 atm pressure. what pressure must be applied t
andreev551 [17]

5 atm pressure must be applied to compress the gas to a volume of only 150.0 ml.

Given

Mass of oxygen at room temperature =500.0 ml

Volume of pressure = 50 atm pressure.

The gas to a volume = 150.0 ml

Explanation

The volume decreases by the factor = 500.0 mL / 150.0 mL

                                                             = 10 / 3

The pressure of the gas increased by a factor of 10/3 , which would make its final value equal to

P_{final} = \frac{10}{3} * 1.50 atm

          = 5.00 atm

So, 5 atm pressure must be applied to compress the gas to a volume of only 150.0 ml.
